Time Domain Astronomy and the Astropysics of Supernova Explosions
The first discovery of a periodic signal in a supernova light curve. Moore et al. (2023)
An explosion of a low-mass ultra-stripped star. Moore et al. (2024)
I am an expert in the photometric discovery of supernovae with the Asteroid Terrestrial-impact Last Alert System (ATLAS) Telescopes and Pan-STARRS data streams. In addition I have more than 27 nights of experience with spectroscopic observations of transient sources with the ESO New Technology Telescope (NTT) as part of the ePESSTO+ survey. During this period, I have become an experience observer and have enjoyed training a teaching eight students and one postdoc in all aspects of the ePESSTO+ observing process, including target selection, observation preparation, target acquisition, and data reduction.
